Love Them Anyway

"People are unreasonable, illogical, and self-centered.Love them anyway.
If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish ulterior motives.Be kind anyway.
If you are successful, you will win some false friends and true enemies.Succeed anyway.
The good you do today will be forgotten tomorrow.Be good anyway.
Honesty and frankness will make you vulnerable.Be honest and frank anyway.
What you spend years building may be destroyed overnight.Build anyway.
People need help, but may attack you if you try to help them.Help them anyway.
In the final analysis, it is between you and God.It was never between you and them anyway."
-Mother Theresa

Wow, what a woman-constantly looking her circumstances in the face and saying yes, anyways. Beautiful. Today, I learned a friend of mine from home died. Death has always been hard for me. Young lives taken. But it makes me look beyond, and evaluate things about my life, that I normally don't think about - that I should.

Fear stops us in our tracks a lot of times. Fear of failing, fear of being vulnerable, fear of being let down, fear of not saying something because it might be uncomfortable, you name it...it can grip us. But in the end, NONE of that matters. The Lord calls us to a life above that. A life of freedom, not being bound by fear. A life dictated by the only SOURCE OF LIFE, JESUS.

There is great strength and great courage to be found in loving. We must love people abundantly, and do what we feel we should, regardless of circumstances, because time doesn't wait for us. There is so much God has called us to, and we all have a part. We live in the HOPE and the Lord, not of man.
