For the first part of the summer I will be in Montgomery, AL taking some photography classes and enjoying the city. Leaving the place I have grown up my whole life & coming back years later to live for a period has completely changed my perspective on the city I was oh-so-eager to leave from. I've realized it has a lot to do on how I choose to percieve it. Yes, there has been many rennovations and the face of Montgomery is changing a lot, but more importantly there is life there- people to meet, opportunities to be had, and things to experience.

"He led them by a straight way till they reached a city to dwell in. Let them thank the Lord for his steadfast love, for his wondrous works to the children of men! For he satisfies the longing soul, and the hungry soul he fills with good things." Psalm 107:7-9

My good friend, Rachel [http://www.rabeers.blogspot.com/], will be there as well, and we are expectant of what the Lord will do in this city and the people during our time there. It is very evident that the Lord is moving, and stirring things up in Montgomery.

Can't wait to enjoy it and be a part.
